Probably good for a laugh but...

#1 Post by katie1 » Tue Oct 25, 2016 3:14 pm

...does anyone have the Hepco & Becker rear rack for the Falco that they want to sell?

Thought I'd ordered one via Motorbikes and Parts over the weekend but there has been no acknowledgement and no one answers the phone or replies to emails or online chat. Think they might have disappeared but taken the payment :smt009

.co.uk website but I'm pretty sure NOT in the UK....

However, they take Paypal so use a credit card as well for a little more protection - fingers crossed.

Well, was aiming for 2nd hand (you know, cheap!) but can also get them direct from H&B UK for the same price.

Really don't like the panniers. A top box may not be pleasing to the eye but at least I can put my lid in it when I'm out and about off the bike

I've got a Givi rack for the Falco that is surplus to requirements. I'm in France at the moment so can't do anything about it, but will be back in Blighty in just over a week's time. PM me if you're interested.

Try emailing the following
:
alex@motorbikesandparts.Co. uk
Ross@motorbikesandparts.Co. uk
Sales@motorbikesandparts.Co. uk

I think that tge Ross guy has tried responding to others in the past and that the 0845 number may be a shared click number to an answering service
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Thanks all.

Will try the named emails in the morning (no response from the 'sales' one) and if not will claim the refund via the bank :smt009

Not that I've got that kind patience :) Just emailed and got a bounceback on the 'alex' email. Will update on the next exciting installment as it happens...

An option that I can recommend as very good for while you get sorted....

SORRY - seems these are no longer made!

Maybe Ebay?

You can get a Givi wingrack 2 to fit, as well, then you can use any MonoKey topbox from Kappa/Givi.

The only issue is sourcing the y100 and y127 fitting kits, these do turn up on eBay every now and then.
