After 5 years with my Falco we've had to part company
The search for transport that doesn't aggravate my sciatica have led me to shiny new V-Strom.
Just like to say thanks to all on the forum who have helped with parts and advice.

Sorry to hear that, hope the Falc finds a loving home and your sciatica lets you have a bit of bike fun.
I find driving my car really plays on my sciatica, I guess its all down to the angle your legs are in relation to the wear/damage.
Hope you will still lurk in the bar from time to time

Nice I like the V-Strom, bit ugly but a great bike to ride. Is it the 600 or 1000cc, I managed to ground out my brother in laws exhausts when he said take it for a spin, hahahaha. His was the litre bike, but the exhausts are way to close to the road as I'm not a knees down type of rider.

Mines the new AL4 1000cc, I reckon the Kaiser's must be a new one too. Single silencer and mounted higher than the previous twin pipe VStrom. Mines got a Yoshi pipe. Better looking too and I find it can handle spirited riding on the twisty roads very well indeed

Mines is the 650 XT I have managed to ground the left hand Hero Blob already ':smt103' did cheat a bit by lowering the footpegs an inch ':smt002'
Major help with the sciatica though, more relaxed ride than the Falco, don't find myself riding at a million miles an hour all the time - can't really ':smt087'
