Has anyone seen these in stainless or even hard anodised ally ?
Mine are a bit rusty and worn, new rearsets are not the current budget and I dont mind the stock set up apart from the rust and wear.
And I love stainless and shiney

I'm not aware of any blingtastic aftermarket replacements, I'm afraid. I agree, stainless equivalents would be very nice, both from a corrosion resistance and bling standpoint. The problem would arise in getting the ball joint thingies in stainless, I think, especially as one is LH thread. I've actually tried dismantling those pieces and getting them plated, but disassembly is a pig and reassembly is downright impossible. Well, it was for me...

Strangely the ball joint parts are not silly expensive if your originals are worn too much.

Oddly, Im awaiting a stainless steel link rod being made by a small business near me.

I got tired of looking at my rusty rod!!!

I take it you're referring to the ball and socket gubbinses? I seem to recall having seen some SS ones on Ebay, from a German supplier, a few years ago.

Are they not just DIN standard rose joints? You can have those off the shelf in any material you want.

Not sure they are rose joints from what I understand a rose joint to be.
Could be wrong, often am wrong in my limited knowledge

I could well be wrong, It's been a while since I looked at the standard set-up

Ha, thanks for the link,it provided the info I needed and now I know what to look for, they are actually called angle joints, now to measure up what I need.

No probs, I thought some of the bits looked sort of familiar.

I will take off the linkage and measure up and compare, if the angle joints are similar enough to work then I will buy some and see how it works out.
It is the same price for 1 to 10 pieces

The linkage rod has just sheared in the gearbox end of the fucking rust rotten jobbie.
Plan A it is then, new rust prone mildsteel waste of money parts
