The falco just didn't feel quite right going into fast left handers some investigation revealed some very slight play in one front wheel bearing :smt012
I had replace the rear wheal bearings back in the winter months and all seemed well with the front at that time but boy am I glad I checked the front again they were completely shot now. This was only really noticeable with the wheel off, the job is relatively straight forward except the first bearing was a bit tricky to drift out without the correct tool. There really isn't much movement in the wheel spacer on my bike and I had to make a drift that fitted very snug to get the first bugger out then all was plain sailing, I was surprised at the poor state of them once removed though.
I managed to get a full set of quality bearings and seals for under £14 inc postage, so well pleased with the result and the bike feels much better in the turns. :smt001
