How much do you pay and what do you get for your bucks ?
I've been offered all singing euro cover, home start, recovery, overnight stay, onward travel ect for £78.
I'm thinking this is far more than I need, a quick search offers me similar cover at similar prices, really all I need is ' Fuck it, get me home'

I can't remember what I pay but we've got family cover with the RAC - covers all 5 of us in any of our cars, motorbikes the van (as long as it's only being used for domestic duties) and any vehicle any of us happens to be travelling in.

Although I can't remember exactly what it cost, when we took the cover it was less than we'd have paid for individual policies on just 2 of our vehicles. Bargain.

Have a cracking deal with the AA - a friend works for them and have family membership for 102 - includes everything including europe

Check the small print, some of them will deem it non cost effective to bring your bike home and will scrap it where it stands if the bike is over 10 years old

I tend to stick with the RAC or AA. Tried green flag in the past and some of the garages they use are golden and some are twats. Think my RAC cover was about £80 this year. The RAC and AA also have new fangled phone apps which makes breaking down a bit easier, not sure about anyone else.

Carole Nash throws it in with their insurance, but like other say the quality or response time of a decent outfit is worth it's weight if you ever do actually need them.
