Just about finished my project. I've got some Oz wheels to put on, need to add a belly pan at some point and may play with the side fairing as bit.

Might need a steering damper on first impressions too!

Sorry I don't understand...why would it need a steering damper?

I've had a Falco for 6 years and have thought it needed a damper exactly 0 times.

Because of the mods it's had.

Not entirely sure what they are to be honest! Bought them off a mate who got them via the AP group on FB, but then didn't need them. He thought they were Tuono yolk/risers, but they're not as I've had to increase the size of the stops to stop the risers hitting the tank.

I did mine over the winter too, but haven't quite got used to the difference yet, and I'm off to the Nurburgring next month so I think I'm going to do an emergency swap back just to give me full confidence (and the best possible handling)

It's been modded to feature a Tuono front end. Standard Tuonos have a steering damper. Not that hard to work out why, is it?

As someone who fitted the bars over the triple....

I would not say a damper is necessary, but it certainly helps as the front end does get a tad light

Looks a nice job Stoney. I think the wide bars will induce the need for a damper. Looks good.

Cheers people. Forgot to mention that this one has a Hansie-inspired front subframe set up - some metal fabrication meaning it connects to the top yoke instead of the frame.

We're going to need to see some pictures of that :)

Another i think, potentialy destabilising mod that will benefit from a steering damper.

I think if you are happy with it good on you some will like it some wont that's what makes you special ... Bear in mind I like that I e on eBay too ;)
