refusing to start

Anyone help
The bikes not moved since November,the batts been off and on a optimate at home with a happy face
Ive tried to start the bike this morning,the alarms flew off the dash all fired up,but I'm only getting clicks when hit the start button !!!!!
Thanks as Im not mechanically minded

Have you tried shorting the starter solenoid relay jobbie

I jumped started it off the car, and fired up straight away
took for a quick spin,left it for an hour and now back to the clicking

Could be the starter relay or other contacts in the starter circuit needing cleaning

If needed cleaned surely it wouldn't of started with the jump leads

The extra oomph from the other battery may be blasting the current past the crap

If it is one of the standard relays swap it with another and try it worked on my mates Mille

I can't see how it would work from a jump start if the relay was knackered
