Been playing with the Falco today. Got my indicators fitted. As they are led I have four resistors to fit. I fitted the rear two with resisters and the were flashing correctly but the front when with the resisters were flashing way too quick so I tried it without and they are flashing at normal speed.nothing to worry about as there is no problem just thought it was weird.???

Secondly, I took my front sprocket off and on each side is like a large rubber washer(?) I can't see that it does anything and the new one doesn't have any. Should I take them off the old one and put them on the new? They seem well stuck on as if they were glued on at the point of manufacture.

As you will remember Karl mark ;) I am about as spanner handy as a chocolate fire guard but I can imagine that the washers may be for absorbing movement ?? Bit like when you fit a car stereo cd changer to stop the disks jumping??

With regard to the indicators, electricity is witchcraft, some on here are frighteningly versed in that dark art and may be along to proffer spells/reccomend sacrificial offerings.
As to the sprocket, look at Yorks Aprilia parts diagram,see if it shows them washers, mine works fine without

The indicators....That's normal to have a resistor on each side.

I made the same mistake and have two spares in the garage.

The front sprocket rubbers seem unusual.

I have fitted around five front sprockets to different aprilia's and never known this before.

But I can't see that it will do any harm if already fitted.

The rubber washers are normal, mine had them. Replace the sprocket and forget about the rubber washers. Jobs done.

Cheers lads. I was going to crack on with it all today but it's just too damn cold. My little fan heater gave up yesterday and I just couldn't face another day frozen in the garage.
