Been reading on AF1 about problems with these kits, caused by too thick steel plates, clutch failing to fully dis engage ect.
Seems Barnett admitted they cocked up and provided a few thinner steels to those having problems, our USA riders seemed to be happy with the solution.
This problem also affected some Duc models as well.
Is there any more to the Barnett kit being poo?

Bumped into another Falco rider at the weekend (a very rare occurence in these parts). He'd just put a Barnet Clutch in that was supplied with two thinner steels for the top and bottom of the stack all worked nicely he reckons.
Interesltingly his original clutch stack still measured within spec, with only his springs being 4mm too short.
This is on a fire red model with 125,000km's on it.

Thanks Falcopops, the problems Barnett had were around 07/08, the seller tells me the oldest kit dates from 2012, so Im tempted.
I had a major let down after fitting EBC frictions earlier this year, they just sat too high, proud of the basket and slipped like fuck, cooking the inner most steels.
Clutch works fine until you decide to get a pace on the it slips like a slippery eel.
If you have toys they must be Tonka Toys ( showing my age here !

I cannot understand why you Poms are so infatuated with her. She's an irritating squeaky Barbie doll.
