Stock Metzelers

I just changed my stockers (not due to wear, more because everyone kept on raging how bad they are). Well I had been thinking - lots of people use them, they can't be THAT bad, right? Wrong.
It's the best and most obvious performance/safety mod I've ever done (and I fighterized my Falco, chopped the airbox, fitted PC3, yellow Mille shock etc). If you sum up all the previous mods, the tyre change alone gives you 200% extra. Easily. Yellow spring shock - yes, there was a difference. Noticeable. like 20%.
Today was my first ride on Contis Road Attack and f@ckn hell what a difference! I thought I'd fall over on any turn! The turn in is so neutral and quick - it's just stunnung.
If this is a sport-touring tyre designed for long distances (compromised on grip and profile), then on the other side are tyres like Pilot Powers CT2, Diablo Corsa III etc., where do those Metzelers fit?
In the bin, I say. AMEN and HALLELUYAH!
