I am assuming this could cause a few debates and can very subjective..

1.Has anyone tried the Maxxis Diamond Supermaxx tyres on Falco?
A. What are they like?
B. How well do they where?
C. The reviews on a few bike forums seem good

2. What do you guys use/find best suited for the Falco?

3. I can be quite aggressive on tyres so want something long lasting but confidence boosting...

4. On my Daytona 955i I always used the continental conti motion, and for their price they were fantastic... any thoughts on the Falco with these?

So much choice is the problem.

i use the Maxxis Diamond Supermaxx tyres on my busa,although im not very aggresive normaly i do have the odd moment of "spirited riding" and i havent had a problem with them.

I have had the rear on for about 6000 miles now and they still got maybe another 1000 to go(if not more) !!!

Haven't used the Diamond types but I've run the Maxxis Sport Touring on a ZZR1200 and VFR and had good results. Life is OK, prob not up to Michelin PR standards but not at all bad. I did notice a distinctly better turn in compared to the Bridgstones they replaced. Maybe lacking a bit of wet grip compared to the big names, but the fact that I've used them twice, on two different bikes, is as good an endorsement as I can give.

Im running a Diamond on the rear of the Falc, so far very good, fast turn in. The Diamond replaces the Maxxiss Sport Tourer which was good and lasted over a year of not too gentle riding.
Some say other tyres have better wet grip but I don't push it in the wet !
One odd thing with he Diamond, if you really hammer it ( I mean really really hammer ) you feel a bit of squish as the diamond pattern flexes, which its designed for to generate heat.
Very good tyres, out perform a lot of their rivals for less $
The diamond is better than the Sports because it has more tread crossing the tyre centre IMHO

That is some good reviews/answers. I have been looking at the Maxxis Supermaxx also, reviews seem good. Sound as though a good fast road/track day tyre also but no much life (soft). I just wonder whether i try the diamonds or the supermaxx?

I've been running the Maxxis Supermaxx Diamonds for about 8 months now and have found them to be really good. They seem to heat up far quicker than any other tyre I've used, yet seem to be lasting well too - I've done about 6,000 miles and they're bearing up ok.

As mentioned, you can feel the tyre move around on the patterned edge when pushing it, but once you learn to trust it it's all good. They have quite an aggressive profile so turn in fast.

I, however have found them to be utter dogshit in the wet - which goes against any other review I've read! (not that I ride in the wet much!)

TBH, regardless of what brand hoops you have its not going to be at all difficult to spin/slide a Falc in the wet !
The power delivery is not shy or slow !
