Sorry for the size,Im not that clued up.
Does anybody else suffer with this and got a solution,I presume its rubbing against the fender.

I have two very similar rub spots on my forks.
About 2 inches further up than that, weirdly on the inside of the left leg and the outside of the right leg.
Cant see what causes it

I know what you mean mate,there's no markings on the fender

Yes, I've seen that as well. In some cases I suspect it's brake hoses rubbing against the fork legs, but obviously not where your marks are.

I've similar but a lot worse on my bike but think it is corrosion. Mines in hidden away places which maybe I didn't get to when trying to clean off the salt during winter.

Good point Keith. Yes - corrosion was my thought too.
Certainly brake hoses can abrade the finish but not in that location.
