I wanted some better mirrors and had been advised that ones off the RS125 are bigger, so bought these off ebay....



Listed as APRILIA RS50 RS125 RSV MILLE MIRRORS

But I went to put them on and they are THE SAME as on my bike already!!

This is my bike as it is now...



So what I need to know is whether my bike has upgraded mirrors already or whether I have bought the wrong ones?

Does anyone have before and after pics or any measurements of mirrors, or know which ones I should be looking to get?

I've looked around the internet and at pics of Falcos and it seems like some mirror sellers list mirrors to fit RS50 RS125 Mille and Falco but they are not the actual mirrors as originally fitted to the bikes.

I am confused.... help!

They are the wrong ones.
Did you read the thread in the technical section on these? it explains that the RS125 has 2 types of mirror - ones the same as the Falco and the long-stem ones.
Part numbers are included (though the pics in the thread have disappeared - I'll try to put up some new ones)

Looks like I was given a "bum steer" by a member on which mirrors to get.

Searching that part number, I found these...

Bit pricey at £40.57 plus delivery PER MIRROR but are genuine parts. Still no photo though....

I think so (though I'm never going to be 100% confident from a photo)

These state that they are 25mm longer which is about right. The long stem ones I have are about an inch longer, makes a big difference.

I bought a set of these of these and fitted them today. Seem decent quality and definitely longer than the standard ones.
