Does anybody have any suggestions for a really good place to get my bike properly serviced within a sensible distance of Ipswich. Somebody has recommended More Moto (formerly Max Moto) at Bury St. Edmunds but if anybody knows somewhere else I open to suggestions. :)

Aladinsane is that ok with you? I'm sure it's worth two bottles to have somebody who knows what they're doing.

Pm your number and I will call you
One of only two folk I will allow to work on my falco is in harleston....

Simple service - oil, plugs filters is easy enough to do for an average home mechanic IMHO
(Standard socket set, torque wrench and air line for blowing crap out of the front pot is all that is needed)
There are a couple of tricks to be aware of but no biggie
Changing sprockets and chain is easy if you have an abba stand or similar
Brakes - time spent freeing off the bobbins is time well spent. Pad changes are straight forward
