The falco has sprung an oil leak. After a bit of investigation it would appear that the rear cam chain tensioner plug is leaking.

Pretty random and obviously happens just as the weather is turning nice .

As a side note, it is now nearly impossible for me to re secure my fuel tank as it has grown so much thanks to ethanol in the fuel. I think i am going to have a new mount made up as I cannot realistically file away the mounting holes anymore otherwise there will be nothing to bolt down....

Any other suggestions on the fuel tank front?

I have thought about drilling and tapping two new holes but not sure if that would weaken the structure, looking at the size of the alloy you would think not.

I have drilled mine out as much as it will go. I'm nearly out of metal to drill out!

Not sure what you mean by drill out, I was thinking of drilling two new holes 8-10 millimetres nearer the tank, not making the original ones bigger.

How about fitting two new plates and weld them onto the original? And have holes drilled with 5mm gaps, be careful the upper part won't stop the seat from engaging and putting the seat out...

I've been talking to Will about a solution to this problem ...... might take a little while to find the time to get things going but I believe there is a solution
