TBH mine needs doing too.

I'm thinking an air line might work - or a long wiry thing - or a combination of the two.

Dunno - not done it before.
I'm thinking the hoses need disconnecting from the unions on the under-tray so that the lengths are relatively short and straight.

Ha ! Had to do the water trap a few weeks ago, was blocked solid with god knows what. First tried with some 30 amp domestic lectric cable, simply bent when it met resistance so then I used a bit of MIG welding wire to force a way through ( 1,8mm dia ) then used the thicker 30 amp wire to clear the channel.
IIRC, as you look at the rear of the RHS of the tank, the first drain is the overflow, the inner is the water trap.( bottom rhs of tank )
As you look down on the tank filler neck there are 2 drains, the water trap is at the 9 oclock positition in line with sidestand, the overflow is at the 6 oclock position inline with erm the centre of the tank

Forgot to add I got seriously pissed off with trying to keep all 3 of the hoses connected when re fitting the tank ( they were all a bit perished and kept falling off).
They all run into the undertray so I stopped worrying... To date I have not st anything ablaze

the water overflow is the one that's flush (or it wouldn't work :smt002 )

the water overflow is blocked solid down in the actual screw lug and it won't unscrew, it's turning but not unscrewing. other lug is off no probs!

using watch size screwdrivers to scrape away the inside but it's blocked solid, i'm getting there!!

hoses underneath are perished so buy new when finished
