Shock and Fork refurb.

Need to get my LHS side fork rechromed and WP shock refurbished. Any suggestions as to good places? Based in London/South East so prefferably nearby (Home counties) but can travel if theres any very good reccomendations.

Pretty sure most workshops will want your kit removing from the bike and taking / sending to them....

A search about here will show quite a few options.

As iconic said, most places would prefer the parts off the bike. They will take them off for you, but it'll cost more.

Ive just had a RSV shock refurbished at revs racing,Be careful what you write!!!!! put a note in with the shock saying my requirements , me weighing 12 stone and the bike is only used for a couple of track days and sunday afternoon blats . rather than service and adjust the preload etc etc they changed the whole spring costing me a total of £198

Sorry for the size of the pic(not sure why so big) They have put another spring on the shock,hopefully can get the bugger on over the weekend,do you have any suggestions on sag for V twins?

I went to a suspension day at Griff's a couple of years back, he did a hand-out with some suggested ranges. Will have a look when I get home.

I do remember someone (D-Rider?) was going to post it as a sticky, but couldn't find it when I looked

I never had a problem with it when standard shock on

Bike felt totally different,after 10 years with the standard shock its gonna take some getting used to,I knew how the bike behaved on every ride ive done, and using the same lines as Ive always done.
I started going wide into left handers and lost confidence due to bike not feeling right,after a while I settled down and started to enjoy the bike rather than worry.
I need to slow the front steering down
