Last time I rode it the bike was fine. It has been locked up in the garage for a couple of weeks and hasn't moved. So absolutely no idea :(D-Rider wrote:Who have you been upsetting?

Whipped the wheel out tonight so i can take it to she shop tomorrow to have a new tyre fitted.
I identified another small puncture hole in the center of the tyre. What i think happened was the tyre slowly deflated over the course of a few days until it was all empty. After being sat there for a few more days, the sidewall burst under the unnatural low pressure and the weight of the falco.
I'll ask the shop to see if they think that is what happened...

I'll be honest, I can't make any detail out from the photo you posted, but I'd agree with Andy and Jay. Tyres don't burst because they have the weight of a static bike on them. Something else is involved if there's a split in the sidewall. Dees anyone else have access to your garage?

Does Mr Magneto have stuff to remove car tyres? I've a couple of ally rims that need the Coventry Blast and Prep treatment and a steelie that's been kerbed and needs a bit of banging straight.
Tyres need to come off first.

Nope - no one else has access to the garage. Not saying that is what it was, but just a thought on what could have caused the sidewall to split.
I looked over the old tyre from the inside with the mechanic - there is no evidence of another puncture (except the one that was plugged a while back). There was also no evidence of any tampering - the sidewall just simply split.
TBH the tyre was getting on a bit so it probably just cracked with old age.
