can I get a tube put into a tubeless tyre, I have had both front and rear tyres changed but I am still losing pressure at the back so I guess the rim might be leaking somehow.
the fitter did check it and didn't tell me there was anything wrong with it.

Sounds like it may be your valve that needs replacing, an easy enough job with the tyre off.

Even simpler, and cheap. Remove then replace the valve core - might be a particle of dirt stopping it closing properly.

Mix up some fairy liquid in a squirty bottle and spray it all over the rim. If you get bubbles anywhere, there's your leak.

Hi all,
Go to halfords and get a couple of schraeder valves. I carry them on my van for expansion vessels in boilers

Im surprised the tyre fitter has not already removed the valve core ect. Sometimes even releasing the core just a few threads can dislodge crap and make it seal.
The soapy water trick should reveal problems, worth a go !

I'm sure this thread is completely baffling to our Norfolk contingent. They really aren't familiar with the concept of soapy water and its various uses.
