I thought that too but I checked the manual and did what Blinky told me to do and it's fine. I'll have a good check over it tomorrow afternoon once my little one is not under my feet! lol :p
Can't wait to get it out for a proper spin!! :p

That is very nice ! Im sure you are well chuffed !
IMO make stand a priority so your pride and joy dont fall over wrecking nice shiney bits...
Then shock, you will be surpised how much better it is with the pogo stick unit gone.
You are now an addict !

Yea she's not polished up or anything. Hopefully blinky will see it over the next few days and check it out for me to see if it really this mint :p
I'm actually going on to eBay in a minute to source a side stand and a shock and maybe a visit to skid marks for a belly pan :)
That might enough for a while.......says the guy who also has also got new LEDs up on a page along with spray painting shop who have good reviews with bikes lol
Edit: ps, I'm trying to decide if I should get a Mille swinging arm & hugger or the Std arm and hugger.

Get out enjoy yourself and put some miles on it.
The modding can start when the weather really deteriorates and if you have ridden it for a bit, you'll have your own priorities.

Looks great . Don't worry about the mods just yet, ride the bike and get to know it. I had 8 years on GSXRs before my first Falco. very very different.
Enjoy the last throws of the good weather while you can.

Looks great.
Can't understand the logic of the previous owner though in shelling out for new cans and a tail tidy before sorting out the essentials (sidestand and shock)
Enjoy

Thanks, Yea I was thinking the same thing myself. Esp since for the four miles I drove home I thought the shock was instantly a load of shite! Why would he not change it!! Unless he did and then took it off to sell but why leave the cans on! Beats me!!

To echo what others have said, stand and shock=priority.
Put some miles on it, belly pan and swingarm are cosmetic, you may decide that fork or caliper upgrades are more of what you need, along with Oz wheels and........endless !

Been to see Taz tonight and look at his new purchase.
Nice bike with a lot of potential.
Side stand is TOP priority.. The rest will come in time

It looks good Taz, as others have said, get the stand sorted, then just get used to a very different bike. Took me a while to get to really know it all those years ago. A gixer 6 is a very different animal, (but a good one).
The mid range is the thing that will really feel great, no need to rev the nuts off it, (but good when you do).
A simple K&N filter will go well with the cans, if not already fitted with modded induction.
So it will growl better.
Enjoy as much as you can while the weather is decent.
