More clutch glitches

After a recent oil change (10/40 to 10/40) I now get a fair bit of clutch slip when making haste now.
I did get clutch slip seldomly before the oil change, again, being quick.
The 1st steel in the stack is bluer than a dead heroin addict, so could the steels be the problem?

Not sure what you have done with the clutch but are you running fully synthetic oil. Also what year is your bike?

Im running on Silkolene Super 4 semi. The clutch problems started a while ago, slipping when hoofing it.
A stripdown revealed a blue first steel plate and the frictions had some wear so I got some EBC plates but they stood too proud of the hub and slipped like fek, old frictions back in and it worked until the oil change !
New clutch springs fitted, Im baffled by this one
Bike is 01,according to the manual I have the later type B clutch, 9 rather than 8 frictions

Start from the basics.......... New clutch friction plates... New steel plates.

Just been reading a post on AF1 by Upex, he too bought EBC frictions and was unable to use them because it made the overall stack hieght too high, he bought the same as me EBC ck6680, same bloody problem I had :smt009
He says Griff sold him the frictions and advised him not to buy new steels as they rarely cause problems.
I spoke to Griff about the EBC frictions being too high to sit within the basket and he said he had not come across this problem before.
So if I have 10 steels and 9 frictions, I must have the later clutch type???
Why doesn't work with new frictions :smt017
