The bike has now covered 46,000 miles and feels amazing apart from one niggle.
The bike vibrates through the handle bars from the engine.
I did mention it over the weekend to the ridersite massive at tunstall and a few idea's came to light.
Martdude did say that maybe the TB's could do with setting up.
The bike when cruising seems a lot better.
Whilst giving the bike the beans it seems hesitant until "it clears" then its business as usual. But even more vibey?
Marts idea does make sense, and since I have done the mid section mod I have not messed with the trim pots.
What is the standard setting for the trim pots folks?
The bike I think is on a standard chip and starts up with no issues at all.
I am thinking of going back to basics and starting from fresh.
I did consider that the mid section may not be right and putting the standard collector and standard cans to see if this improves things?
I need answers folks as I will end up with a bad bout of vibration white finger at this rate. :smt017
Cheers in advance folks

As per our call

Check the vacuum hoses especially around the scottoiler....

I had a vacuum hose that was open to the air from a removed Scott oiler when I got mine. Ran heaps better once I removed it and capped off properly.

trim pots vary but with aftermarket chips I think the standard is 12 o'clock then start mving out from there

The air box clear oil collector tube was missing so another fitted.
Breather pipe from engine had come off but bike was still not right.
I bit the bullet and changed the TB's and all is well now.
The throttle was stiff so I have changed the cables and cable arrangement for another and that has improved things.
Time for a beer :smt003

Trim pots should be adjusted by measuring the CO ..... Which you probably don't have the kit for. Most seem to work from 12 o clock so that would be the place to set them if you can't adjust them. I expect Mart was suggesting you balance the TBs. You do this by adjusting the air bypass screws on the TBs to equalise the vacuum (measured with a carbtune manometer set or vacuum gauges) The workshop manual tells you what to do.
