Interesting tyre test

I just found last year issue of Polish 'Motocykl' magazine with an extensive test of sport-touring tyres. Some of the results are interesting if not shocking.

They were using two Yamahas YZF-R6, on a track (Spanish Calafat) and Kleber testing centre in Salon de Provence (France), in nearly constant air and tarmac temperature, controlling tyre temperature as well, using 2D-Datarecording with GPS sensors, measuring lean angles, in dry and controlled wet conditions. Not I-think-those-feel-better type of comparo then.

I tried to interpret (my poor effort only shows how hard it is to do). It should be understandable. I hope.

No wear at all I expect, you can push it all the way and also save on fuel costs :smt003

Thanx (again, getting boring... :smt008 )Sabestian! (our personal Mr Google...) :smt002

Thinking about new tires for months now, like this design and the testresults (and the price as a dutchie...)
Got an ex-circuit set of Pirelli's on now for only 50 euro mounted, got already 3k km's on them and still look good (better because I cleaned the poser edges while driving) and dont like them : to nervous for street use and they didnt even seen the rain yet!
