According to the "How Many Left" registry we have 275 Falcos and 48 Futuras left.

we are a two falco family....

and that dvla list is VERY easy to misread... I think you will find that figure of 275 does not include SORN's

so - there are only 275 currently licensed in this year, there will be some more licensed this year and there are some that are SORN'd... I suspect a closer figure would be may be 400 to 500

I thought the list did it per quarter and it's unclear whether the figures are the total number that remain taxed within that quarter or the number for which tax is paid during that quarter (and for which the 4 quarters would need to be added together)
That said, it's a while since I looked so I could be wrong.

Yeh, the site is a bit confusing as the two figures in the second list, (including SORNED), add up to more, but either way there ain't too many.

Some other examples of "rare" V Twins -

Moto Guzzi Griso - 433
Suzuki TL1000S - 903
Suzuki TL1000R - 74
KTM 990 SMT - 614
Aprilia Mana - 190
Aprilia Shiver (all) - 642
Moto Guzzi Le Manns (all types) - 39

So the Futs are nearly as rare as the Guzzi Le Manns.

.... and here is a good example as to why I don't trust the figures ......

On ebay alone there are currently 10 Guzzi Le Mans for sale - that's more than 25% of all that are recorded in the list.
I think it's too great a stretch of the imagination that only 29 owners are currently wanting to hang on to their Le Mans - and that's ignoring any that might be up for sale through other channels (eg Gumtree, Auto Trader, MCN, Guzzi forums etc)

Yeh, I know, but it is not an official site, the bloke does it in his spare time, (using DVLA stats) and it only covers bikes taxed or sorned since 1994, so some older bikes will not be covered.
It is all we have, makes you think and fun to look at.
