Hi, have found an alternative to the known sidestands.

It's common knowledge that the CBR 1000 RR arm works very well.
On ebay you can buy a cnc milled aluminium arm for the CBR 1000 RR.

The dimensions are exactly the same, so great lean angle and wider footprint.
It looks very nice, and costs (new) as much as a second hand CBR stand.

Original switch bolts right up without modification (I used the newer version, with the metal locking pin)

All in all, it's a nice new, unknown mod, that I just wanted to share with you lot.

Looks a nice bit of kit. Can't tell from the pics whether it comes out as far as the Gixer stand and the contact patch to the ground looks a bit small .... but it does look very nice

nice stand , but can see it sinking into the ground and falling on my tent
