Subforum? Modded Falco's ???

#1 Post by Falco Frank » Wed Jul 10, 2013 11:29 pm

Not sure if Sub-forums work here but I did have an idea (yes, it does happen)...

Of having an area where owners of modded Falco's could each create a thread for their machines listing the current mods and maybe discarded mods for any reason.

Just a Whisky inspired thought - dont shoot the messenger :smt002

I'll try and list mods currently fitted in date order:

Bike came fitted with pannier racks and panniers.

Part of charging wiring mod (via AF1)
Triumph 675 Indicators - front

Baglux tank cover
Phillips Nightbreaker headlamp bulbs (for the hell of it!)
Iridium & Plasma SparkPlugs (Hmmm)
Staintune Stainless Cans (I LOVE Shiney!)
CF direct replacement front mudguard (OEM now refitted, cos I so like the colour)
Oz Tuono Wheels - originally Blue
Stainless steel mesh wrap for coolers / radiators (B&Q)
Better / longer sidestand (Bubseywoo?)
Some extra Stainless fastners as I went along

New Stuff for 2013:
Diablo Rosso II tyres - 190 rear
RSV-R Radial Forks - Rebuilt by Alpha Suspension (Top Man, John)
Radial calipers & Master cylinder - pressure brake switch - Tuono Brake hose (DK Spares - put 'em in ya watch list on Ebay)
Woodcraft 3" Riser clipons
RSV-R Yokes - Top yoke bead blasted.
Ohlins RSV-R rear shock and remote reservoir - shockshield Red spring cover
FULLY REBUILT rear linkage bearings (Thanks for the Torrington suppliers from here!)
Oz wheels painted Black and Rims polished

Skidmarx gloss black belly pan
Blood, sweat and a few tears in various amount.

Cheers - Frank

Yep. I don't think we'd have one that isn't modded in some way.

I will have a look and tinker tonight

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Don't be so hasty - perhaps some merit in that - lower frequency of Green Flagging?
