oil seals

is there anywhere that will suplly oil seals for our falco's that aren't Aprilia prices?

Not sure what size they are but have you tried a hydraulic parts supplier? They normally have all manner of seals.

If you can identify the seal size (inside diameter, outside diameter & depth) there are all manner of places that you can get them from. Local seal/bearing suppliers or online equivalents are favourites. I would never, ever buy bearings or seals from the manufacturer (unless they really are 'specials'); always buy from a trade outlet.

they list those dimensions on the parts list. I'll pop down the local hydraulics place and see if i can get some.

I got my clutch slave seal from here, it cost about £2.75 I think the postage was the same.

Excellent, if you ever get stuck there is a hydraulic place I know that will make seals to order on their CNC machine from all various types of material.

Almost every seal has its own number, identifying its size and type.
If the numbers are still legible, take it to a bearing and seal specialist, they can tell you if its available, usually at a fraction of the cost

the seal was delivered to me this morning and is now happily sat in the bike. cost me £4.
