I really need to get on and do this, I'm getting more and more dash resets, even right after long runs, and the bike volt-o-meter usually says about 11.5v unless I've literally just whipped the Optimate off it.

Bollocks, wrong button!

Don't blame the Italians it's got Jap electronics :smt002 Sounds like a duff battery or connection, or maybe you're not riding it enough :smt005

If the battery etc checks out maybe it's a duff rectifier or bad block connector, have you made the charge wiring mod?

I was buggering about with stuff last night and nipped up the high voltage terminals on the bottom of the starter relay. Not loose, but they did take a quarter turn.

Will get the spanners out at the weekend, thanks for the tips. Hopefully I'll do the wire mod as well then.

Notice how I posted a reply to a thread properly this time :smt024 :smt003
