The LED has bust on my alarm.
I'm thinking of replacing it with a blue one to go with the blue highlights that are on the black falco.
Opinions?

I've had the bike a week and it hasn't bothered me yet. But most likely I will take it off. I have removed all he others I have owned.
Just thought it'd look a little different.

I fitted mine 8 years ago just after I bought the bike and it's caused me not a moment's trouble.
Even replaced the batteries in the fob yesterday - was still working but having had it for 8 years (and it being second-hand then) I thought it was about time.
I would say most of those that seem to have problems have alarms that begin with the letter "D" (and end in "atatool").
I have a suspicion that a fair number of them may have been on bikes that are not regularly used - but that's just conjecture.

Yeah it's a datatool veto evo that's fitted. Seems ok.

My datatool series 3 is fine, not had any issues, fitted before delivery in 2002.
I did have to replace the LED, but only because I wanted it in a different place on the bike.
I can't remember if I got a 12v LED or not, I know I didn't put a resistor in line with it. You may need to measure the voltage and current at the original to be sure you get what you need.

It's done. 84p from Maplin for a 12v low current bright blue one.
Thanks.
