Telewest, (now trading as Virgin Media), were one of the first companies in the UK to introduce fibre optic Broadband many years ago.
I know, I helped to introduce it by working very closely with them to create the new infrastructure/network.
At that time the Norfolk swamp dwellers were probably still carrying parchment messages over the swamps to the next village in sealskin coracles.

Not in the 1990s they weren't, they were more likely to be just using the sheep.

Dave, we've moved into Beverely, near Morrisons. Still renting, but looks like our house may have sold :smt002

How come you've got the amazing b'band then? I thougth we were all subject to the crazy monopoly that KC has around here.

Not got much time now until August but we must get together for a ride.
