Sprocket....

Seems I'm another one with the damn thinner sprocket centre meaning the bolts are over or touch the swing arm. I can reveal that mines is a jt sprocket measuring 5mm at the centre.. Standard was measuring 7.5mm... Could be half a mm of dirt though on the old one.
Guess I need 2.5mm washers then... Boo...

Where are all these 'low fat' sprockets coming from ?
Was it part of a set?
May be helpful to steer others away from these anorexic purchases

It's just a jt sprocket... Used them loads and never had a problem in the past.
It's nothing fancy, just a general sprocket from eBay. Most suppliers on ebay sell them.

Shrinking sprockets, expanding tanks, enlarging waist-lines ........ can't anything stay the same?

I emailed the company (Ducatimondo I think it was) to say the product is not fit for purpose and would they prefer a return or would they just send me spacers... Personally I'm not bothered either way. To be honest they could straight out refuse any help seeing as I bought it at the start of February...

Theyre not simplifying the brand and selling RSV4 sprockets as Falco/RSV ones are they? Times are hard for businesses and if the RSV4 one is the same, but thinner, they may just be taking that option for supplying people. less stock idly on the shelf..

Least they can do is send out spacers to suit.

The one I bought had the title sl1000 falco.. Although I think a few have the same product code. Sure it's 702.42 with the last two being the teeth count.

I'm hoping that they send out spacers as it'd be more hassle to locate a sprocket that hasn't been on a diet.
