Hi guys I was about to order some stainless bleed nipples but I am now confused as the manual stays all are m10x1...... But I think that the frontcalipers are m8x1.25
The rear and clutch are m10x1
And the nipple on the front brake just above the banjo is m6x1

Can anyone confirm the correct sizes just to make sure. ... think I'm going daft

Cheers :smt006

I'd say M10 x 1.0, as well. And I'd always trust the manual rather than memory...

Did this ever get resolved? I've started cleaning up my calipers and the rear banjo does indeed look like an M10x1mm. I've not yet split the fronts but want to have the parts all ready for when I do, are they M8x1.25?

The rear is m10 x 1. The fronts are m8 by I don't know the pitch.

I'll be getting mine out this weekend because one of my pads is binding on the front disk. I have thread pitch measures, i'll let you know.

Thanks guys, it seems M8x1.25 is a likely possibility as I've seen some bleed nipples listed for Goldlines at that size, strangely though the torque settings list from Aprilia forum lists them as M10 just as gete manual States. I guess that's just an example of a typo getting replicated though.

I need some stainless brake line bolts - can;t believe the state of these zinc ones!

Here's a link to a stainless M8 x 1.25 bleed nipple:

And I wouldn't use anything other than stainless for any part of a brake system in contact with brake fluid, be it hose banjo ends, banjo bolts or bleed nipples.

Yeah after seeing what has happened to these zinc ones, I agree. Stainless bolts all round for the front calipers ordered.
