Oil Light...

Hi all,
I actually rode my bike over crimbo

Alas, on the way home, my oil light came on

As I was only half a mile from home before I noticed it, decided to risk a slow retreat home. Got home put it up on paddock stand and checked the oil level after a few mins.
Oil level was two inches up sight tube. So, my next question would be a slow pick-up or return maybe? Someone posted up here a spell ago, that there is another filter on the top pipe on the oil reservoir, is this a point to check maybe?
Any thoughts gentlemen...

Plus 1 for the oil pressure switch.Mine failed this year. It's in a very vulnerable exposed position and can be easily damaged I think.

Hi all,
OK, thanks Blinkey, remember a switch down there. Seems a weird time, as my speed sensor has gone as well

My horn went last month, so hopefully things come in three's
And that will be all that's wrong. Expensive crimbo for a dark one.....
Have a happy new year men, may this coming year give us more sunshine and hopefully I shall attend the "Gathering's" this year
