You can get this
plus a sleeping bag, a massive double inflatable mattress, a pump for inflating said mattress and a metal mug into this aprilia roll bag
with room to spare!!!
That leaves me 2 panniers completely empty for clothes and luxury for a 3 day trip to Le Mans

have you considered using the tent with out the hotel?
iy may not be as dry, but you may save a few quid
and yes, you can get a lot in there - what i also found was that a folding chair is very easy to secure to the top of the tail roll :)

There's no space in the hotel room for a folding chair once I have the tent put up :)

The panniers will easily hold half a case of cider each. And a pair of underpants. And a hat.

Oddly, my mate left me asleep once on his settee while he went off to work at the bike shop. The other employees decided that In his absence I'd be running about the house with his wife's knickers on my head. Which I didn't.
Some strange folk about.

Had them on. But not on my head. That would have been silly.
Just missed you on Sunday. Nearly came after but got distracted by aeroplanes.

That reminds me . . overdue apology - for not pulling away as quickly as normal from that roundabout just after Northampton, on the way back from Club Aprilia weekend - was distracted by the Lancaster flying overhead

On my hols in Italy the other week, driving from Rome to Pompeii, I was distracted by a big, yellow flying boat.
Never seen one in the air before.

iirc the italians used to use them for forest fires etc?
when I spent a lot of time over there - a good 20 odd years ago, they were a common sight in the bay of naples

Yes I would imagine one of those crashing may well start a forest fire.
It was near Naples and there were reports of forest fires in the area
