Hi
Hope to fit my refurbed shock tomorrow - the passenger handles are the obvious lifting points, but will they tolerate that? Or are rear peg mounts / subframe in general, appropriate?
tia.

Thanks I've heard ABBA are good; but don't expect to really need one for anything else but this...

If you don't have access to an Abba stand or an Ulti-pro that can lift from the swingarm pivot, then either this method from C-Plus' website:

http://apriliafalco.hadeler.net/index.p ... ins_shock/

or this from Ken's site:
http://apriliafalco.hadeler.net/index.p ... ins_shock/

is probably the easiest way to support the bike (obviously ignore the swingarm swap bits on C-Plus' site)

I think an abba stand is hard to justify, right up until you have one

I use mine all the time as unlike a paddock stand, you can put it on the bike on your own safely....

Happy to report the grab handles was up to the task, and are still firmly attached to the bike.. :smt001
Install went swimmingly, trimmed a millimeter or two off the valve to clear the subframe like others have reported (love the 'net!). Following 40 km ride didn't excactly show a revolutionzed bike, but did feel better and more secure in the corners. Looking forward to more miles... (and to service my forks)
