Afternoon all

Just joined the ridersite forum. First post to introduce myself!

I have to confess to not owning a Falco though, but I am a bit of an Apriliaphile with 5 currently sitting in the garage here at chez Cuzza, and having owned 2 others in the past.

Had a 2002 RSV from new and raced a 2006 SXV550 in the Norasport Supermoto championship for a few years. They're gone now though and I currently have:

2003 Caponord Rally Raid - one of less than 20 in the UK I'm told
2000 RSV/Tuono Hybrid track bike - built it myself last winter
2000 RSV-R road bike in mint condition that I rarely use :-(

I've also got a 2003 Tuono that's currently for sale but what might be more interesting for you Falco riders is another 2000 RSV-R that I've had for 3 years now but that I'm going to break and sell!

I'm told that Falco owners like a few RSV-R upgrades? Well, it's pretty all there still, bar the swingarm as that's already gone. So, I'm looking to offload the usual Ohlins goodies including forks, shock and steering damper, not to mention the OZ wheels and such like

PM me if you're interested in any bits and pieces?

Cheers

Jon

Welcome Jon, tell us more about the hybrid trackbike, homegrown track tools are always interesting!

I bought a couple of RSVs in the past 18 months to break and sell on and a crash damaged Tuono to do the same.

Long story short is I found myself having made a small profit yet still had enough bits lying around to put a bike back together that I could use on the track and owed me nothing so I wouldn't mind smashing into pieces round Cadwell Park, my local track.

The result is this:

Basically it's a Y2K RSV with Tuono bodywork, top yoke and bars. I spent some dosh having the forks re-valved and serviced and stuck a newly serviced Ohlins rear shock in there for good measure.

All in, it owes me less than £700!

Greetings from another PBMF local. I think it was you who pointed me toward Steve for a set of yokes, I in turn pointed him here as he had lots of bits the RS folks wanted. It's a friendly place here, although the smell of vulture shite can get a little overpowering, especially when R model stuff is mentioned

Thanks for the warm welcome folks...........heard from one or two vultures already ;-)

Maybe a post specifically about the RSV-R parts would bring more in?

DavShill............Beverley eh? I grew up near Pocklington, got married in Beverley Minster ('cos I is well posh innit!) and got into much trouble drinking many a Friday night in your town.

Ah, the memories..............Push, Green Dragon, Angel, Nellies, Regal Club
