She's almost there .....

#1 Post by cornish mafia » Sat Aug 04, 2012 7:28 pm

Well this is it now folks the bikes going into the dyno garage on Tuesday for the new custom map and fingers crossed get it running like it should do ...

So the mods are : -

54 Throttle Bodies
Evo Airbox
Leo Vince SBK high level can
RSVR single side exhaust and header mod with special twin pipe mod welded on ( to silly to know proper tech name for it !! ) :smt003
And of course all the Ohlins , swinging arm , OZ wheels etc etc etc etc etc ...

So the question is AFTER i've nigh on spent as much money getting all this together as what the bike cost me in the first place what are the bets on the BHP from the dyno run !!

Will post the result and hopefully the map next week ......Fingers crossed but i'd love to see 125 BHP .....please please please :smt089

OH yes forgot to say AFTER that's been done i will be sorting out the re-spray so no slagging that lovely belly pan !!Image[/img]

Oh and bets on BHP? 123 at the..wheel.

It'll be interesting to see what results you get with that can fitted. What diameter bore is it?

Nice one Mr Mafia - apart from the additional colours, very very similar to my one :smt004

I like that belly pan
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Very nice mate, lots of good mods.

I think you should get pretty close to 125 with the right chip and tune Power Commander in there?

i think that the dyno will make the fuelling spot on

i also think that you like how the bike rides

with that in mind, the numbers are worthless :)

Just as I was expecting from you lot , mixed reviews !! :smt005

Yes the exhaust is probably a " little" to long but it's growing on me the longer ( no pun intended ) it's there .......It's an RSVR one coming of the famous flea bay ...

The belly pan is different but it may well fit in nicely with the spray job I have in mind ALTHOUGH like a good women I seem to be changing my mind more and more over what that spray job with be yet :smt017 ..........And yes Gio it may have a sort of attraction the police like for remembering who it was riding too fast around the lands end race track..( sorry i meant road ) but as of yet they haven't nicked me ......famous last words !! :smt013

The flashers will be brought up to spec once the spray job is done but as much as i like the bronze and black colours i can't see it staying.....

Forgot to add a PWC 3 is already fitted so fingers crossed she should come together and give me the best I can get out of it , looking forward to taking it for a ride once it's done...... :smt002 And yes you're right Aladinsaneuk i do like the way she handles on the road and goes round corners ( and roundabouts ) BUT it would be nice to see 125bhp at least ............

:)

I think that it is probably going to be around there.... it is a similar spec to mine so.....

(main difference is in the exhaust - I am running a renegade twin can set up, but also off a mille)

I would also like a copy of your map - i would like to compare it with mine
