Bobbi pulled a trailer with her trike to marches meet.
I am not sure how you would attatch a tow bar to a falco.
I know the a falco would piss pulling a erde trailer but i also know there is laws on what weight a vehicle can tow.
I fitted a tow bar to my 206 estate but i can only tow a 500 kg unbraked legally, The 206 weighs over 1000 kgs
So with this in mind and a falco weighing 220 kgs what would you tow

I keep thinkin about a single wheeled trailer like the ones you see behind pushbikes (but stronger built obviously)
Then taking tent, campstove, heated rollers, toaster etc.etc. would be much easier.
Its not so much the weight as the volume.
Once on site, would be great for doing a beer run as well

Panniers? Topbox/Ventura (or similar) system?

Mart, I have panniers, which work well, just musing about it really.
Have seen a few bikes with trailers, even an Royal Enfield on the M6 last week, seen the web pages of single wheel units used in the states etc. just thinking about if I could do it really.

My old Guzzi Club mucca used to pull a trailer with his cali 3 and got on ok with it. He used to get a lot of wear out of front tyres though. It did have him off once though when he forgot it and tried filtering. His was a Squire. Info and legal bits here.

When we was at marches meet i looked at bobbi's trike and the towing arrangement.
Being in engineering i looked at the falco to see if a tow bar could be fitted.
I really can not see any way of fitting one to the falco, the frame will not take the stress for starters.
I have a tank bag/panniers/aprilia bag for the rear seat, and i am about to purchase a givi rack off pete.
I will be looking to buy a top box too for the beer if required.
I can imagine that with all this luggage it will still be cheaper and more feasable than looking to fit a tow bar to the bike.

I was thinking if either something through the rear axle, or off the rear paddock stand points, that way in either case a 1 wheel trailer would follow the line of the bike & lean with it as well in corners, self steer as it were.
Not thinking of a traditional towar type fitting, too cumbersome.
Again this is not my original thinking as such just possible adaptation of whats already out there on pushbikes.

I really wouldn't attach it to any un-sprung part like swingarm or wheel spindle.

I seem to remember seeing towing setups that effectively add a new towing subframe that attaches to the main frame of the bike ..... they are not subtle ....

I saw this in a car pak at le mans last year, looks the nuts. It has its own suspension and everything. It looks like it's mounted straight off a modified swingarm.

Sorry for the poor picture quality, it was a mobile phot and in an underground carp park.

Looks like it has a grab rail on the tank aswell, must be for the pillion or something. Never seen that before
