I need a higher screen for my Falco, what options are there available to buy, and where would be the best place to get one from?

Anyone familiar with this screen? > http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Tourenscheibe-Apr ... dZViewItem

Cheers

Looks like a PUIG which I believe to be a good make. But not sure it looks any taller than stock ??

Personally I fitted a Skidmarx double bubble (such a stupid name) which I am nice and comfy behind without any need to lie on the tank - at sensible speeds.

Have tried both the skidmarx and the puig one.

Skidmarx DB one is fine

Puig One I got an annoying helmet vibration from about 80mph up resulting in blurred vision by 90ish mph when I put my hand at the right or left top edge of the fairing it went away from that side. Oh and I am about 6'.

Hope this helps

Is the skidmarx one better than the standard one?, if so, by how much?.

I am thinking, at the moment, getting under the standard screen isnt too much of a problem, but in 2 weeks I am doing a "shakedown" run to Scarborough with my luggage fitted, to see how I get on for Germany in May, and I am thinking that I may have a problem getting under the standard screen with a tankbag on......... :smt017

Better at what Dan? It has got to be a good 3 inches higher. I think I prefer the look of the standard screen but not it's colour. I decided to change for colour's sake and while I was at it try a higher screen. Can't remember how the old one felt now.

Better at reducing the windblast into helmet mainly

This is such a personal issue. Sometimes higher screens just deflect the wind to a more annoying part of your helmet. Also windblast can help ease wrist ache on longer journeys. Enclose yourself in a blast free zone and you could be more uncomfortable.

Personally I like the Skidmarx screen. I still get some windblast but seldom feel the need to tuck behind the screen - usually only for very strong headwinds at speed. I have sat at very high speeds and it felt like I could sit there all day but only a good long journey will prove that. Roll on my hols. :smt003

http://www.skidmarx.co.uk/

I got mine from their stand at Peterboro show last Autumn. Did me a good price but I think they're only £50 anyway. Try ordering from website?

I just fitted a pyramid double bubble. It hasnt been tested yet, but I'm not sure I like the look when compared to standard. Had to have it though as I am due to go to Le Mans next month with the wife on the back.
