I believe he sells them on eBay too, message him first about what mods you have etc and go from there. I could be wrong but doesn't he also have a website?

My forza was from ebay, described as 'for open air filter and exhausts'.
For an off the shelf item it works nicely with a K&N and SL carbon cans

So when fitting, do you need any of the "gunge" that's on the original chip? I assume it's anti-vibration stuff, and not bathroom sealant?

No.
They do go overboard with the adhesive on the standard chip.
No real need for it TBH.
Maybe just check once in a blue moon that it's seated OK but that's it.
More importantly, get the thing in the right way round, discharge yourself before working (no Pete & squid - not like that - just make sure that you contact ground to discharge any static build up) and keep your grubby mitts off of the pins.
Make sure you don't bend the pins when pushing the chip into the socket.

Fitted and runs, so didn't fry it! Bit reluctant to start, but think that's cos it's on the open airbox map, just need to put some connectors on the cut wire (or just find an open airbox!)
Trial over the weekend! Although don't expect anything as extensive as flatlander's right-up!
