apparently if you fail it they may make you wear funny boots

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

If you really really must have a *ugh!* Yellow one.... Leave the mid panels matt black, paint the mudguard and hugger to match them, then paint the bellypan yellow.
Won't be all in your face then, Ducati get a way with an all yellow bike as it's not too bright, the 'Prilia yellow's a bit sickly for me. The Falco's not really a leary 'attitude' bike so I think subtle colours suit it better.
A black frame and swingarm would look great on it!
I have a spare Falco swingarm as it happens, I've been meaning to get it blackened for ages, but never get round to it :-/

update
so i passed my test but have only had the chance to use the bike once, but it was great and i love it! i have however tried using it a handfull of times and am becoming increadibly frustrated by my inability to start it! i had the battery on an oxford oximiser for a couple of days before tryibng it in the morning with no joy (although it started ok the evening before). this is all after kitting up etc so is very annoying to have to take the car to work instead! after leaving it on charge for a further 24 hours the same thing happened the next morning. i thought it must be the battery had had it so i purchased a new bosh one (same as the old one) from halfords at nearly £70. followed the instructions filling the acid, waiting half an hour, checking the charge (which was below 12.7) then followed the instruction to charge it which i did overnight thinking it would be ok the next morning, WRONG. still just turns the bike over but wont fire it up, with it showing the voltage it goes down to 9.something when turning over then back to 12.4 when not. after another night of charging it did finally start the next morning which is the day i got to ride it. still seemed pretty sluggish when starting. and since then has failed to start again although its been on the optimizer for 3 solid days now!
is this new battery a duffer, or could there be something wrong with the bike or my starting method? whats the best way to do it? my commute is just under 30 miles each way, so should the battery have been fully charged enough by the bike in order to start ok the next day?
any ideas/advice greatly apreciated!
other than that i have done some experimenting with making up some stickers for the bike to make it a bit more individual looking and im pretty pleased with the results. i will try to add some pics below.
