I persoanlly have never heard of an air shock for a bike.
My GL650 had one. Well it did after I tried adjusting the pressure with an airline and all the oil sort of fell out. Or rather came out at high pressure all over the back end. Air adjustable suspension, gotta love it.
Where ever I lay my hat.....

Well it IS a gas shock but it is oil damped - the gas doesn't do the damping. I guess that's where he's confused.
I agree that it needs to be money back time

Indeed but the air is not used for the damping. Usually it is used to contribute to the springing.

Well, I still need a new shock.
The white spring Mille items fit with no alterations req'd at all?
I may just go for one of those and have it serviced to save messing about.

Valve may need a dremel trim....
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

No loss of pressure

Sorry and yea!
The white spring Mille shock uses the same linkages
BUT
some have had to take the dust cap off and then cut the valve down by two mm
Do not fit the dust cap
Then it's a straight fit
One service place will also fit a shorter valve ? Revs racing?

If it is the white spring/black body with blue locking rings Sachs, yes you will need to trim 2/3 mm off the valve.
everything else fits !
