Bl**dy H**l, far too many posts to catch up on so I'll do it one
Andy, yes it was Pegasus, but the cost of MV parts, servicing and insurance has made it a non-starter. Pierre was spot on, the parts costs are unbelievable, pricey is one thing but £150 a lever???
Gio, Yes a friend has a Multistrada but it just doesn't float my boat. I've got to love the look of my bike and the looks are questionable (diplomatic or what?) The dealer offered me another £200 off the price he offered on the other colour schemes, apparently Aprilia have a surplus of Red bikes (no surprise there (IMHO)) and have offered him 10 at a price he can't refuse.
I'll let you know how the test ride goes later
Nigel, I'm still not talking to you!

Well I've ridden it, and bought it. A Tuono that is
To say I was impressed is an understatement. What a bike, it only had 20miles on it and yet it pulled like a train, The handling is sublime and those radial brakes are the business (not that much better than the Falco though to be honest)
It's very comfortable and the extra vision the riding position offers is something else. I can see over hedges etc.. a real boon on the roads round here
So F9 is to become T9 (but not just yet)
Delivery is 10 days and counting

Wheyyyyyyy, Glad you're staying with 'prilia.
I've just been out of the Falco, only did 95 miles, but jesus don't you have to watch that rev counter, got a stare from plod on the A272, he was going the other way and I was zipping past a line of cars, don't think he could see the reg no as he disappeared fast
She's a bit skippy for me atm as it got a bit bouncy coming out of roundabouts if you're hard on the throttle, but oh my a blackbird she ain't

Gio,
Your too light!

she's set up for a lard arse

(ie:me!) you'll need to re-set the sag to suit your higher but lighter frame I reckon!
Nice to hear your still having fun though, this Tuono is gonna be a different beast though

Congrats T9! Good to see you staying loyal to the Brand! You'd have got so much grief off this lot had you swapped to something else

I still need (well, we need..) a review of a Falco, a review of a Tuono and a review of a Mille...and a review of a Ducati...Honda wossname..thingy..you know that thing wossname had..... .. ....
I almost booked a test ride of a Harley today at Black Bear , Newmarket, however came to my senses when the missus said it looked 'nice'
