now now - lets have the whole story about taking the battery out shall we?
who was it who was working through the haynes manual to do this?
and who was it who, when they finally got their seat off, could not see the battery?
and then who rang a friend to help find the battery?
and can anyone else wonder why i say we teach you spannering on the sv, before you play with the falco??
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Did I mention that after taking out every single screw nut and bolt that the battery was the last thing I found so who knows how it goes back together
Only joking, well at least I managed to do something right pmsl

.... and just in case we have any untutored people ....
When removing a battery, disconnect the -ve terminal first
When reconnecting a battery, reconnect the -ve terminal last
(on a -ve earthed bike or car .... as they all tend to be these days)

Let's just hope his medical skills are somewhat better than his abilities as a mechanic (or as a maker of excuses)!

Now now Pete, no need to refer to yourself as a tool...
