I've got Metz3 on the front and Met4 on the rear. Seem ok tbh.

Flatlander, the price is for a pair, tyres only so a bit more cost for fitting,
As for Maxxis tyres, I hear the Sports are even better than Diamonds, some folk find the squish effect on the Diamonds a bit odd
The Sports are about £170 a pr
Cleverly disguised as an adult !

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

I have been offered a pair of Dunlop D209 Qualifiers at £197 fitted.

Anyone tried the D209's

the only thing I know is that my tyre chappie and I were discussing qualifiers and he remarked that they were basically the standard tyre with a fancy name
