Wouldn't have thought it very likely with no real compression.

Indeed. Although it would have been quite cool (and probably painful) if it did fire up.

Its all gravy now. Next job - change the front fork oil and look at* getting the rear shock reconditioned.

* - might need a (physical) hand with that.....
