Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
......... so is this one a software implementation of the clutch function ......Aladinsaneuk wrote: Oner of the falco's i look after has had a beta test unit fitted for around a year - and has been excellent

We tend to call bits of kit like this "prototypes" or "pre-production parts"

Oh yes - good news BTW

Quick update, I have had the Oberon on for almost a month now and covered quite a few miles, so far there has been no drop in my clutch fluid level, so all good there. It has turned black again though. The '04 on RSVR sprocket cover arrived and fitted perfectly with new stainless bolts. I now have a Mille R carbon muddy to go on as well and have been looking out for more CF bits to add (a motopike bellypan WILL be in my future).
Next step is to ditch the strange looking silver carbon hugger and get a more normal chain guard on, I was thinking about getting Kayla at Projection components to make one up I ally but I don't have an original to use as a template. Does anyone have a spare I could borrow to do this or could give me the measurements from? Check her site out for some reasonably priced Ti bolts and some decent exhaust hangers that she'd a fair bit of weight.

That was the first thing I did.
Unfortunately I couldn't fit the mudguard today as one of the bolts was already rounded. The last one too, I coppaslipped the three I got out and I will try to use a slightly bigger torx bit to get the rounded one out before replacing it with a new OEM bolt (luckily I live near an aprilia dealer so don't have to pay ridiculous postage prices for one bolt). The bolt that covers the clutch jet was starting to round off too so I left that job for later.

Mudguard now on, a little trip to my local aprilia dealer secured some new bolts and a trip to screwfix for a tap and die set and it's done, the old bolt was so well stuck in I had to drill it out completely. Still haven't done the oil jet mod. Here's pics:

Yes it needs a damn good clean and yes the garage next to mine does appear to be some sort of knacker's dumping ground.
