Looking good! Fairly similar to mine :smt003

Maybe it's time to lose the white hugger though :smt064 There is a flap in front of the rear wheel to protect the shock

nicely done

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

I'd second that. It should be possible to get the hugger colour-matched to the rest of the paintwork; recently someone put up a link to paint suppliers that could match Aprilia paint, even though the codes aren't made available by the factory.

But the updates you've done are bang on the money. Nice work.

TBH I'm not that keen on the hugger myself, it looks like a silver CF weave, from a quick look online it seems that Akrapovic made some like it. I wouldn't mind just having a chain guard or maybe a black CF hugger.

I would guess it's an NWS one in the finish they called "silver ghost"

RS bike paint is a good source for aprilia colours, they even supply the illusive oasis green.

Looks good so far :smt001 . I have a question about those exhaust hangers how do they compare to the original hangers? the reason i ask is i would like my akropovic cans to have a more upswept look ie pointing more upward do you think that would be possible with them or do they match the originals.
Thanks :smt001

I also have a question with regards to the Fuel cans - I've got a pair of Akrapovic on mine and they're great. However they are not quiet... And this is made worse by the lack of a balance pipe on my system. When I took mine for its MoT I was told in no uncertain terms that next time, if there was no change, it would be a fail.

I realise I can find a different test station, but I was wondering if Fuel sell the baffles separately. Would you know?

Looking on the Fuel website they state that they do not sell any bits and pieces or accessories.

I've used R&G Milie ones, they're not cheap but look good in black (pics in Gallery section)

They will not fit with standard cans, they look like they put the cans in a slightly more upwards attitude but I can't say for sure, what is certain is that the mount for the cans is higher and further back than the stock hangers.

More progress to report. My Gabro EPROM arrived today and is now fitted, very easy job and very quick too. Haven't yet taken it out on the road but it seems to tick over smoothly and I have been able to lower the tickover speed a little and retain that smoothness. I have an EVO airbox heading my way courtesy of mr D-rider and once that's in I shall be heading over to hindhead for a 'tunnel test' to fully experience the noise.
