like I say, Paint and a mille swinger to come. Also considering full Ohlins radial front end, OZ wheels and saucy rearsets...
I was in Texas end of 2009, drove down to AF1 HQ and picked up one of the last fighter kits - the fenders were offloaded in the US, the bar kit I sold (have some tasty Rizoma items anyway), fitted the 'zorts, headlight and radiator cowls, plus belly pan (not on in this picture).
Still have the steering damper and brake rotor covers lurking in the garage somewhere...
Need to sort the dragging clutch when I get back, and put some miles on it. Its barely done 2000 miles since I've had it. Ive rewired it, new alternator stator, done the wire mod, done the led flash rate correction (running tasty dual intensity led rears, plus built in indicator rings...), Ohlins rear shock, Scottoiler, 15t rear sprocket with 43t rear...(she does like to wheelie now!)
I do love her, but I get no end of shit from my blackbird riding bro for having such an unreliable machine. Lets see how we get on this summer.
NB: I'm, pretty tall, so have made use of the ride height adjustment on the shock - I find with the extra height at the rear, she sits pretty good on the standard stand... but if anyone is flogging an improved version, let me know.
Ta!
