Don't knock the Toon Army Andy, they beat the Pigs tonight, so keeping them below us!

As for the Falco comfort issue, still can't understand how numerous people on here find it uncomfortable, as RG and Chabby and others have said it is pretty good for what it is. I'm an old git and I find it comfortable for anything other than in town traffic, when like most others I gert wrist pain. I've had a VFR and still have a CBR1000F, which both "feel" a bit more comfortable in some ways, but I can still ride the Falco much further without any pain. Maybe it just suits my shape, 5'9", overweight and have suffered with arthritis for 20 odd years!
It really depends what you compare it with, try riding an R6 for a couple of hours if you like pain, (the Falco will also outrun it as well on most normal roads!).
I can't ride a naked with high bars as I get serious pain in the shoulders.
Even on a bad day, when in pain off the bike, I go out for a run and the pain goes away, should be able to get Falcos on the NHS, (then again I can't get any pain killers off that lot!), just have to stick with the Falco then. :smt001 :smt004 :smt001

I have to concur here this is by far the best bit of fettling a person can do
I ride a Mille and before adjusting the levers and footrests, wrists, forearms and calf's were regularly feeling the strain, now that is a thing of the past :smt004

I've not had to change the riding position at all, fits like a glove, std screen n'all.
I'm 6' and it just fits purfick, I can ride all day, rarely go out for less than 200mls, it's no bother at all.

Love it.

And I had to crash mine, then rebuild it with a Fighter kit to be comfortable. I was getting all sore after 15 minutes on her with the stock bars. But that's probably because I so old (31), and can't bend over any more. :smt017

I have a different helmet and jacket and haven't noticed this problem for some time.
That's another point. When I bought the Arai the salesman told me I was pulling the chinpiece down too far.
He said to tilt the helmet back more to leave more space above the eyes so you don't have to bend your neck back to look forward.
It took some getting used to but it seems to work. Arais are allegedly more race orientated and are designed to be worn like this.
The odd time I use the AGV makes me realise I've probably been putting helmets on wrong for half my life.

Ah, yes I have tried tilting the helemt back a bit which does help. Is there any way of fiiting the helmet so I rest my head face down on the tank? :smt001

Not so far fetched, I often rest the chin of my helmet on my tank bag.

Hi all,

Just bought a shoei XR1100, it's like having a totally different helmet, the view area is HUGE! I don't even have to trun my head to look to the side :smt002
And ever so light, if anyone is thinking of buying a new helmet, that 's the one to go for :smt004

As for riding position, it's the combination of handlebars, levers, and peg position is critical :smt003 And obviously, how long you ride...
My warranty is the clear/smoked tail lights around the corner!!
